Two steps, about a minute. No email, no invite code. Myra ships through TestFlight, Apple's official app for trying apps before release.
🎁 Free during beta. Beta users get 70% off for life at official launch.
Tap button 1 above: the App Store opens the TestFlight page (blue propeller icon, developer: Apple). Install it like any app. Already have it? Skip this step.
Tap button 2. TestFlight shows the Myra page; tap Accept, then Install.
Myra appears on your home screen with a small orange dot next to its name, the mark of a beta app. Sign in with email, Google or Apple and start your first lesson.
Yes. Most people pause when told to “install this other app first”, and that is the right instinct. Here is why TestFlight is the exception.
TestFlight is Apple's own app, free on the App Store. It is the way Apple prescribes for releasing test versions of iPhone apps, from the largest companies to small teams like Myra.
Before a beta can reach outside testers, Apple reviews it against the same App Store Review Guidelines. The Myra build you are about to install has been through that.
An app installed through TestFlight is signed by Apple and runs in the same security sandbox as every other app. It gets no extra powers: to use the microphone for pronunciation scoring, Myra still has to ask you.
If an app ever sends you into Settings to install a “profile” or tap “Trust”, stop. TestFlight never asks for that, and nothing needs to be jailbroken.
Press and hold the Myra icon and delete it like any app, or open TestFlight and choose Stop Testing.
You never give Myra your Apple ID password or payment details. TestFlight shares only technical figures with Myra (installs, crash reports) and feedback you choose to send. Your learning data is covered by Myra's Privacy Policy.
A beta build works for 90 days. Myra updates far more often than that, and TestFlight tells you when a new build is ready. If the app ever says it has expired, open TestFlight and tap Update.
iOS marks every TestFlight app that way so you know it is a test version. The dot disappears once you install the official App Store version.
The Android beta is not open yet. Save a spot by email and we will write the moment it reaches Google Play.
