New words with tone contours and Hán Việt roots, a dialogue heard three times, two-way translation, grammar, then a chat using the very words you just learned. It ends with a gate: score 80% to unlock the games, and any word you miss gets its own 30-second review.

Hi there,

I was second in my class and still couldn't speak.

I started learning Chinese at a school in Da Nang in 2023. Second-highest scores in class, up to 8 hours of homework a day. Then I noticed: almost all of it was word recognition. When it came to actually speaking and writing, I got far too few reps.

Duolingo, HelloChinese, Memrise only let me shadow model sentences. A tutor on Preply, 150+ hours over 2 years, got me speaking much more, but when class ended, that was it. No homework in between.

Myra fills exactly that gap: I feed her lessons into the app, it pulls out the vocab and grammar, and builds games that make me actually speak and write. I still use Myra every day.
